We read every message. Bug reports and corrections get priority — if a file fails to parse, a field decodes incorrectly, or a case study or guide on this site is wrong or outdated, tell us and we’ll fix it. Please include:

• the page URL,
• what you expected to happen versus what you saw,
• for parser issues: the camera/app that produced the file and, if you can share it, the file itself (never required — we can usually work from a description of the tags involved).

Feature suggestions and requests for new metadata formats (e.g. HEIC, TIFF, DNG) are welcome — they go straight onto the roadmap list.

A note on what we can and can’t do from your description: ExifView parses files entirely in your browser, so we never see the photos you inspect — which is the point of the tool, but it also means a bug report that names the camera or app, the file format, and the field that looked wrong is far more useful than a screenshot alone. If the file is one you made yourself, even better: tell us which device produced it and we can usually reproduce the tag layout.

We aim to reply within a few days. ExifView is a small independent project, and the privacy pages cover how the site itself handles data (short version: it doesn’t — there is no account, no upload, and nothing to delete).
